From verified company to delivered work, every engagement runs inside an encrypted workspace hosted in Germany. Your data stays inside, and you pay only for milestones you approve.
Verified on both sides
When you register, you already tell us the basics: who you are, your role, your company, and what you want to get done, including your project, timeline and budget.
Before your first project, we take one more step and verify your company. This is called KYB (Know Your Business).
Who qualifies: SMEs registered in Germany.
What you send us: your HRB number from the German commercial register (Handelsregister).
Why it matters: every student on WURP is identity-verified, and every company is too. Both sides know exactly who they are working with before any data enters the workspace.
Milestone protection: no one loses
Every project is split into milestones: smaller pieces of work with a clear result. Money moves one milestone at a time, so you never pay for work you haven’t seen.
When you’re happy with the work.
You approve the milestone. The student is paid for that milestone, and work moves on to the next one.
When you’re not happy with the work.
You have two options:
Ask for a redo. The same student revises the milestone, using your feedback.
Switch to a different student. We match you with another verified student to take over the work.
Either way, the money for that milestone stays held until you approve the result, so you never pay for work you didn’t accept.
Refunds.
WURP refunds the money for any milestone you didn’t approve. No one loses anything.

A project has three milestones. Milestone 1 is approved and paid. Milestone 2 misses the brief, so you switch to a different student, who completes it. You approve it, and only then is it paid. You never paid twice, and you never paid for work you rejected.

A multiple-choice and reasoning test covers the basics of their field. It is scored by AI, and only those who pass move on.

They get a real project based on a realistic client brief, deliberately a little unclear, just like real briefs. They have to figure out what’s missing and deliver anyway. We watch their progress as they work, not just the final result.

We check that the work is really theirs.
In a 30-minute recorded video interview, an expert with at least 10 years of experience asks them to explain their choices and change things on the spot. If they didn’t do the work, it shows.
A human makes the final call.
Experts review the project and the interview and decide the result. The whole assessment takes one week.

Tier A: ready for complex, high-stakes work. Tier B: strong and dependable for everyday project work. Tier C: capable, best for well-defined tasks.

You see the tier before you choose who works on your project. Students who don’t pass can try again after two months, and so can students who want to move up a tier.
